About ChiNdü

One company, working both ends of the same supply chain.

We own both ends. We farm, we train growers, we process near the field and we manufacture in Britain. We do not buy from a trader, which is why the batch record holds.

Mission

To discover, develop and commercialise underused crops as high performing everyday foods and ingredients for the UK market.

Vision

A food system no longer dependent on a handful of crops, but powered by a far more diverse, resilient and nutritious range of plants.

Where we operate

The cycle, in six moves.

01
We farm it ourselves first
Nigeria

Twenty hectares in Abuja, five Bambara varieties. We test yield, technique and nitrogen on our own land before asking anyone else to plant it.

02
We teach and then we buy
Apiowye community

Growers in Apiowye learn intercropping and regenerative practice, then sell us the harvest at planned volumes instead of roadside prices.

03
Mini processing at source
Nigeria

Cleaning, sorting and first stage processing happen near the farm, so value and jobs stay in the region.

04
Crop material moves to the UK
Shipping

Every batch travels with its record, traceable back to the field.

05
Manufacturing and market
United Kingdom

ChiNdü handles formulation, manufacturing and the route to retail, food service and ingredient buyers.

06
What we learn changes what we plant
Back to the field

Consumer feedback, product scans and lab results feed the next season's variety choice and processing decisions, and the cycle starts again.
